Welcome to the College and Career Center Website! It is our hope and prayer that when students graduate from FCA, they are prepared for life and ready to journey on the path God has planned for them. We aim to ensure that students are ready for that next step, whether that be college, the military, trade school, the mission field, or the workforce. FCA supports upper school students with academics, as well as helps prepare them for these next steps by offering support in classes, providing testing information, dates, and resources, assisting with the college application process, and explaining pertinent information regarding GPA, scholarships, and transcript information. Students are taught to steward well their gifts, talents, and passions as they go out and impact the world with a steadfast commitment to God’s purposes and God’s ways.
Lanie Garrison, FCA's upper school college and career counselor, works with all upper school students ensuring that students understand the college application process early in high school and helping them to position themselves for success in whatever path they choose. She meets with students throughout the year, but is also available to meet with students and parents by appointment. Mrs. Garrison also partners with teachers to ensure students receive the support they need to be successful in and out of the classroom.
