2026/2027 Testing Dates

FCA will be offering the Digital ACT for Seniors in the Fall and for most 10-12th graders in the Spring. Testing dates will be announced and posted as soon as they are available. Registration will take place through the school, and not the ACT website, though an account with MyACT.org is needed. Please make sure that your names match both accounts. 

Recent ACT Changes:

• Reduced number of questions overall

• Reduced the test length - only 125 minutes now

• Students get more time per question

• Reduced the number of answer choices in math questions from five to four

• Students can now choose to take the ACT National test with or without the science section

• New composite score based on Reading, English, and Math sections

• New STEM score if taking the Science section

• Superscore will be based on the Reading, English, and Math sections

Until we know more from colleges about the Science section changes, I highly recommend students take the optional Science section at least once.
