2025/2026 Testing Dates
FCA will be offering the Digital ACT for students in both Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Testing dates will be announced and posted as soon as they are available. Registration will take place through the school and not the ACT website, though an account with MyACT.org is needed.
There have been some major changes to the ACT that are being rolled out over the next year. The changes will not affect any ACT tests at FCA until September 2026, but you will see these changes at all national testing locations starting in Septemeber 2025 (local Saturday test dates).
What’s Changing?
Reduced number of questions overall
Reduced the test length - only 125 minutes now
Students get more time per question
Reduced number of answer choices in math questions from five to four
Students can now choose to take the ACT National test with or without the science section
New composite score based on Reading, English, and Math sections
New Stem score if taking the Science section
Superscore will be based on Reading, English, and Math sections
Until we know more from colleges about the Science section changes, I highly recommend students take the optional Science section. Additional information can be found here.
